The company Direct Fly s.r.o. was founded in 2006. The main subject of enterprise of the company is batch production of the ultralight sport aircraft ALTO. Our aircraft factory is situated near Uherské Hradiště - Kunovice, in region with 70 years tradition of aircraft production. The aircraft L200 Morava, L13 and L23 Blaník, L410 are originated from this region and others new successful ultralight aircraft. Thanks to aircraft history and high proficiency of local servants we have desided to establish manufacturing company Direct Fly s.r.o. in this region. |

MAGNUM 501 RECOVERY SYSTEM TESTED ON ALTO |
|
Our company has successfully tested the installation of the parachute system MAGNUM 501, manufactured by the Czech company Stratos 07 s.r.o., on our ALTO. The test was performed by ground launching of the parachute system at Kunovice airport (LKKU). This test shall verify the functionality of the existing parachute installation. The standard location of the parachute assembly is the rear bulkhead of the baggage compartment. The rocket is initiated by pulling the handle installed on the center console between the pilots. The launching opening is covered by the specially trimmed skin which easily flies away after the rocket is initiated so that the parachute itself is not damaged. The test was successful, no faults were indicated and the existing installation on the airframe of ALTO proves to be correct.
The recovery system MAGNUM 501 was borrowed by the Czech company Stratos 07. Enjoy the short video and photos taken during the testing.
